(Jeremie & Suzy this entry is for you two)
well I was asked to write by monsieur and madame who are above, they told me I really needed to update.... well just to let the two of them know I started my xanga account just before exam time. So I was really busy and them internet stopped working and then I left for Europe and at my g-mothers she only has dial-up ... then I had a really busy time in Switzerland and now im back in Niger (Jeremie i heard that your bro is gonna be my gym teacher?! is this true??I hope he will get us fit, but wont be too mean while he's at it!!)
My gorgeous doggie was pregnant for the second time when I left... then my parents left for two weeks to Ghana and she gives birth and two of the three somehow die and the third dies a day or two after that!! I cried when my parents told me this over the phone, (sniff sniff) so sad!
Well enough of sad things...lets move on to the funnier and happier, shall we!
I will tell you about my summer vaca in Switzerland...
I left Niamey at midnight hoping and planning to be on the same flight as Tam....but things did not happen that way! I ended up next to a nice Burkinabe man, kept falling asleep and I (sitting in a window seat) was always having the need to go to the bathroom. I felt bad always waking him up so I went and found myself an isle seat with an empty seat next to it, so I could lie down. I spent the rest of the time there...arriving at Paris CDG I was said my good byes to the Woodkie's, I said bye to Bob and all the "I wish you well..." then turned to Matt to say good bye, but he obviously did not want to talk to me (which hurt, cause I have known him since I was 7 or 8 and I wanted to say a proper good bye!)
I then met my g-mother and aunt at the airport, we went home and I slept 3 or 4 hours strait! (boy was I tiered) then Wednesday, after a day of rest I got a phone call from Larissa a friend of mine.We planned to see each other during the week, we saw each other Friday and she asked me if I would like to go to school with her the next week,(because they had just finished exams and weren't going to do much the coming week) I said yes!
So Sunday after church I headed over to her house and prepared my self mentally.
The week at school was an enriching experience, but some what traumatizing and comforting, all in one go!!! The first big mistake was that I choose to wear my bright pink sweater on Monday morning,(and my friend comfortingly told me that no one in her school wore bright pink ) I did not want to take it off cause I was cold (way to make my self noticed). The whole first 3 days I walked down the halls being stared at and asked questions. There is this one girl at the school called Lorie, (she apparently went into some kind of psychiatric home for a while and she smoked cigarettes and maybe weed too, if I can remember correctly)and as I walked past her she yelled I quote "you think your pretty, new girl, but your not! your nearly pretty, but your not!" I actually started to giggle after she said that, you could tell she was sooooooo desprit for attention she would say or do anything, for attention! Sad, sad, so sad, what some of the youth is coming to, nowadays! But through this experience I made some friends one of which I would consider to be a really good friend! It taught me that God will provide friends for me when I go to England!
it is so late & im so tiered that i will continue this tomorrow
